RIAS has been named as the best home insurance provider in a new poll, it has been reported.
The survey of 5,000 customers, conducted by This is Money, looked at the customer service offered and gauged whether homeowners would recommend their provider.
It was revealed that 66 per cent of RIAS clients would recommend the company with 81 per cent describing the customer service as good or very good.
Meanwhile, 62 per cent said that queries were dealt with quickly and 64 intended to continue with the firm.
Andrew Oxlade, editor of This is Money, said: Our readers make it their mission to meticulously sift through all the players in the personal finance industry to find the best.
Winning them over on either customer services or trust - and in many cases on both - is quite an achievement.
RIAS recently warned that many homeowners are at the risk of being underinsured because they have not taken into account the rise in the value of gold over the past year.
