Legal and General has chosen Sterling has one of it home insurance providers for high-end customers.
Among the applications for insurance that could qualify for the Sterling products would be contents cover over £70,000 or rebuilding costs of over £800,000, as well as possessions with a specified value over £20,000 and non-standard constructed properties .
Legal and General believe the new partnership allows advisers to offer a more comprehensive range of products to their clients and it will continue to look for more partners.
David Sweeney, director of Sterling, added: With a vast wealth of expertise in both customer service and specialist underwriting, we are confident that we can provide a valuable additional product offering to Legal and General Network's customers.
Sterling will handle all customer services and it will also be responsible for fulfilling the insurance policy .
ITL Mortgages recently became another partner of Legal and General in its mortgage division, providing a lifetime tracker product with interest off base rate (currently 0.5 per cent) plus 3.39 per cent.
