Department store chain Marks and Spencer has been welcomed back by home insurance comparison site Confused.com.
Marks and Spencer left the site temporarily while changing underwriters from Aviva to Axa, but has now rejoined the panel.
The chain currently offers unlimited home insurance cover on buildings and contents, including money up to £500 and a personal liability limit of up to £2 million.
Peter Ablett, commercial director for Confused.com, said that the return was wonderful news and will help it get the best prices for customers.
He added: We are committed to constantly reviewing our panel to make sure we are covering the best range of products, so customers need not go elsewhere. With a typical visitor to the site saving £185 on their home insurance, shopping around has never been so important.
Other than comparing prices, a recent poll by Halifax Home Insurance revealed that home owners could cut back on their insurance spending by stopping smoking, as the habit causes higher home insurance premiums.
