LV adds home insurance policies to Gocompare.com

Liverpool Victoria (LV) has added its policies to Gocompare.com's home insurance comparison service, it has been revealed.

Paul Wishman, group ecommerce director at the insurer, explained that the firm added its car insurance products to the site last year and this had proved a success.

He said: We believe our home insurance policy will prove to be a popular choice for consumers using Gocompare.com as their approach to comparison means users are able to see what good quality products we offer as well as competitive prices.

Anyone who takes out an LV home insurance product through the price comparison website will be able to benefit from the online discount the firm is currently offering, Mr Wishman added.

Yesterday, Darren Black, head of home insurance at Confused.com, advised people to choose a policy based on cover and not just price.

People should also check they are aware of the terms and conditions of their home insurance so they are not caught out.
