Sheilas' Wheels is celebrating the first anniversary of its decision to offer home insurance .
Since the launch of its home insurance product, the company has taken on 1,200 new customers a week, beating its own growth targets.
According to Peter Wood, chairman of the women-only insurance brand, the firm's success has been down to the quality of service it offers.
"Making sure we understand the needs of the modern woman and striking the right balance between value and quality has definitely paid off in terms of business growth," he said.

Yesterday, Sam Marrs, travel insurance manager for Sainsbury's Finance, advised people not to rely on their home insurance to cover the belongings they take on holiday .
