Heath Lambert is to begin offering home insurance on behalf of GE Money Home Lending, it has been announced.
According to Steven Bartlett, managing director of Heath Lambert Insurance Services Wholesale, the deal will see customers being offer a competitive new home insurance product.
He said: I am absolutely delighted that we have been selected to partner with GE Money in launching this first class business.
The home insurance scheme, which was launched last month, is only available to current GE Money customers and staff members.
Heath Lambert should be able to deliver the kind of service that home insurance customers will expect, a spokesperson for GE Money said.
Yesterday, research by MoneyExpert.com found that the number of people looking to switch home insurance deals has not been affected by the credit crunch.
It revealed that ten per cent of home insurance customers have switched providers in the last six months.
