Anyone searching for home insurance might want to consider a new offer from Churchill .
The insurance company is offering to beat householders' current home insurance renewal quote by £30.
Martin Scott, head of home insurance at Churchill, said: "Our price guarantee enables new customers to obtain lower cost insurance at a time when many householders are under increased financial pressure after Christmas ."
The home insurance offer is open to anyone who hasn't made a claim in three or more years.
For Churchill to beat your home insurance renewal quote it must be at least £75 and provide the same level of cover.
Direct Line is also offering discounted home insurance in an attempt to woo customers after the Christmas period.
Andrew Lowe, head of Direct Line home insurance, said his company were offering a third off their policies.
Earlier this month the Association of British Insurers announced new rules aimed at cutting the number of home insurance claims that were declined.
