Halifax launches home insurance incentive

Halifax has announced a new home insurance related promotion for its customers.

It says that new and existing Halifax and Bank of Scotland current account customers who opt to take their home insurance with either of the banks of Halifax Estate Agency will receive £25 cash back .

The bank says the offer applies to people taking out both buildings and contents home insurance .

Tom Woolgrove, managing director of Halifax Home Insurance, said: This is a great opportunity for banking customers to purchase Halifax Home Insurance at a discounted rate and see for themselves the benefits of our unlimited home buildings and contents cover .

Anyone who takes contents or buildings home insurance separately will receive £12.50 cash back. The offer runs until March 22nd 2008.

Last week Halifax Home Insurance warned that poor winter weather could lead to an increased number of people making claims on their policy.
