Halifax Home Insurance announces new offers

Halifax Home Insurance has unveiled details of a trio of new offers, which may be of interest to homeowners across the UK.

Firstly, new home insurance customers are being given the opportunity to get building insurance and contents insurance for half the normal price for a limited time only.

Moreover, those property owners who conclude the deal online will be able to benefit from an additional 25 per cent discount.

And an incentive is also being offered to current customers, who will receive shopping vouchers redeemable at Boots, HM, Comet, Woolworths and Homebase if they recommend the home insurance provider to a friend.

Richard Marriott, head of household products and marketing at Halifax Home Insurance, commented on the deals.

"Customers can now benefit from a choice of offers that can save them over a hundred pounds on average while also giving them five-star home insurance cover," he said.

He concluded that the offers mean it is a "great time" to get home insurance from the company.

People looking for homeowner's insurance must choose between either purchasing joint home building and contents insurance cover or arranging the two elements separately.
